IIT Gandhinagar is a place of constant happening, excitement, and fun. A vibrant student body which not only academically sound but also highly indulged in many extracurricular activities. Students are constantly exposed to new ideas, innovative activities and are challenged to grow into multi-dimensional individuals.
Here at IIT Gandhinagar the students have their own clubs to pursue their hobbies, various competitions happening to explore new horizons. Students initiatives in IIT Gandhinagar have started with small things such as organizing hotel competitions such as Dumb-charades and now have flourished to organizing one of the largest cultural festivals in all of Gujrat.
Speaking of intra college happenings and activities we have student activities such as Hallabol and the latest introduction Jashn. Hallabol is the institutes fun and participative based sports festival. Spread across a week an enjoyable series of games such as Gully Cricket, Frisbee etc. with their own set of unique rules and twists. Jashn- the intra college cultural festival also is also a fun filled week of enjoyment consisting of various competitions.
IIT Gandhinagar takes its community efforts very seriously. Nyasa, is the result of our efforts to help the poorest in whatever way possible. We at Nyasa regularly teach children of the poor construction workers in and around the campus and provide them with different necessities like clothes and food.
A united student body which grows in every walk of life whether it maybe studying for the exam or having fun together with a group of friends. IIT Gandhinagar is a place to be.
