IIT Gandhinagar Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (IIEC) is a company incorporated under Section 8 of the Companies Act 2013 is promoted by IIT Gandhinagar to implement the overall strategy of incubation, IP management, commercialization and to implement entrepreneurship and innovation development programs.

IIEC is industriously determined to assist the innovative ideas from both students and faculties to become reality which can make commercial success and social impact. IIEC is currently incubating companies started by its alumni and is open to incubating any technology startup from outside the IIGN community. Apart from space and infrastructure for technology development and venture creation, the incubation center also provides mentoring, connectivity to professionals investors, and business networks, and limited financing.  Incubation center connect them to right mentors to develop and scale up their technology or products and identify their market, for legal and intellectual property related guidance apart from helping incubatees financially. 

IIEC is creating around 10,000 sq ft furnished office space, tinkering labs, Prototype development center etc. on the campus of IIT Gandhinagar at Palaj

IIEC assist the innovative ideas from students, faculties from IITGn community as well as motivated professional from outside  to become reality which can make commercial success and social impact. IIT Gandhinagar incubation center is currently incubating companies started by its alumni and is open to incubating companies from outside. Its incubation facilities in the upcoming new campus include wet and dry labs and rapid prototyping infrastructure (hardware and software) to support high technology start-ups. Programs:

Explorer Member Program for supporting individuals who have interest in working on their ideas to create a commercial venture but not yet ready for incubation. It provides a co-working space to such individuals and supports by providing access to the ecosystem with different entrepreneurial activities and exposing them to different aspects of technology development and business planning. Currently 2 teams of IITGN alumni are availing the facility.

Incubation for startups with proof of concept. IIEC provides office space and infrastructure, mentoring, networking, access to finance to validate the idea, gain initial costumers and start revenue generation.
