The IIT Gandhinagar Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (IIEC), incorporated under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013, is promoted by IIT Gandhinagar to implement the overall strategy of incubation, IP management, commercialization, and entrepreneurship development.

IIEC is strongly committed to supporting innovative ideas from students,faculty members and alumni of IIT Gandhinagar, helping them evolve from early concepts into viable and sustainable ventures.

Facilities: IIEC is in the process of developing approximately 10,000 sq ft of furnished office space, including dedicated tinkering laboratories and a Prototype Development Center, located on the IIT Gandhinagar campus at Palaj to support early-stage innovation and product development.

IIEC supports innovative ideas from the IITGN community as well as motivated professionals from outside the institute. The IIT Gandhinagar Incubation Center is currently incubating companies founded by its alumni and remains open to ventures from external entrepreneurs.

Our upcoming facilities include advanced wet and dry laboratories along with rapid prototyping infrastructure to support high-technology startups. Beyond space and technical resources, the incubation center provides mentoring, access to professional investors, business networks, and limited financial support.

IIEC also connects incubatees with the right mentors to help develop and scale their technologies or products, identify target markets, and receive legal and intellectual property guidance, while offering assistance during early-stage financial growth.
