That fading face

© David Chiem 2009

Unknown faces daily travel down my memory lane,

Some have the warmness of life,

Some have the betrayal of life,

Most are enjoying as it comes,

Few insist hard to make a change,

But that fading face is hard to forget,

It had some unusual tale to tell,

Its oceanic eyes with years of truth,

Though the serenity was unseen,

Bar it revealed the journey of life,

Those crooked tracks of numerous journeys,

Snowy hairs told the message of time,

I shall come, whoever you are,

I shall come, wherever you are.
